Cuddles for Carole...

Spent a couple of hours this afternoon organising the social diary.  Gill coming for coffee tomorrow, meeting a friend for morning coffee at Gloagburn on Friday, lunch date with Lj and Derek sorted for a couple of weeks and tentative plans for the weekend.  

Needed a nap after that :-))

This evening our good friend (and Lola's breeder) Carole came for dinner and to give Lola a trim.  It was lovely to catch up with her and hear how Lola's sister, mum and auntie are getting on.

Lola was very pleased to see her (as was Alan) and keen to show her lots of affection.  I wondered if that would still be the case after Carole had trimmed and brushed her and clipped her nails.

I needn't have worried.  She emerged from her trim looking more beautiful than ever and still full of affection for Carole, as my blip shows.

I am sure Lola still feels a special bond with Carole and I love seeing them together.  Hoping to arrange for Carole to bring Lola's mum Lily and her sister Freya up here soon so they can all have a romp on the moor together.
