Discovery

The apples are ripe! I have a beautiful crop, really juicy and sweet and the flesh is tinged with pink where the sun has been on them.
My wasp prevention wraps have only been partially successful as it turns out that wasps can bite through fleece! And the apples I chose to protect are obviously the most desirable for the wasps too.
Fortunately there are plenty to go round, so long as I can pick them without grabbing a wasp too. May get Rob to help, he likes wasps!
