Quintessential California

While we are in Manhattan Beach for the upcoming AVP (Association of Volleyball Professionals) tournament, nothing says California quite like surfers in the waves. We arrived early this morning from Denver, dropped our stuff in our VRBO, and headed to the beach. We expected to be watching some volleyball in the qualifying tournament, but that doesn't start until tomorrow. Had to make do with watching these surfers from the pier while soaking in the California sunshine.
