Another entry in the Tucson Jim tribute blog...
The pup and I went hiking in the Manzano foothills today. Lots of neat rocks and some interesting pictures, but this one was best. Unless of course it was yet another shot of my beloved volcanoes. Nope, this one wins. The pup and I got all the way to the top of an almost tall little hill. I bored the pup to death by moving slowly.
Then it was off to take pictures at a friend's son's basketball for my first experience photographing high school basketball. This was a "practice" game for me before I do the senior day shoot. I am open to tips on doing a good job at this, especially a recommended lens length and exposure (ie, fstop, shutter).
Today I give thanks for the day I was given, the impending snow storm and the moisture it will bring and the pup.
