Dinner Time

I was grilling dinner tonight and this juvenile male black chinned hummingbird came around to have a bit of dinner for himself. I had to look closely, but there are a few purple feathers forming on his throat.

The yard is alive with all these young males vying for rights to each of the feeders. The Anna that I blipped a few days ago plants himself next to this feeder around 5:00 in the evening and diligently chases off all that dare to come close.

Today was a Costco/grocery shopping day. I am grateful to have the pantry stocked along with finding some clothes for winter.  

The economy has been stimulated...my job is done.
