Irrigation

As the hot, dry weather continues, and the grasses turn yellower and yellower, the farmers do their best to keep their crops green and growing.

I walked my bit of the Fen Rivers Way again, but this time, I crossed to the correct side of the river at Queen Adelaide. This makes it easier later on.

To make this trek harder, the cows were out and wouldn’t let me pass. They stood there, blocking the way, staring and stamping their feet. Very intimidating they were, too, but it turned out they were scared of me and ran away when I eventually got closer.
