Quebec City

We drove through to Quebec City in about 3 hours on good and generally quiet roads.
We are staying just outside the old part of the city which is perched atop the highest bit of land in the area with great views of the St Lawrence River ( blip)
The old part of the town is a UNESCO heritage site , with some interesting buildings and the old intact city wall. It does not feel too busy either - I suspect the holiday period is coming to an end.
