Sowing

A little earlier, as in about 2 weeks ago, this field was full of ripening barley. Today we watched as it was sown again with winter barley. It was some machine - an implement on the front prepared the ground, while the one behind was sowing the seed.
We've had a great day - we met up with my brother-in-law and sister-in-law for lunch, there's a lovely deli /cafe at the top of the town, called Picnic.
