Formakin Reflection

This is the 'Monkey House'- Formakin west of Bishopton. I worked there a long time ago when the council bought it and it was being turned into a country park. It eventually was closed as such and the house and other buildings sold off, but the estate is open. I was part of an ecological survey group there. Birds I saw on my three hour walk today included jays, buzzards, great spotted woodpecker and spotted flycatcher. The woods of beech and oak were beautiful and deserted.The east wing of the house is up for sale at £585, 000, I may snap it up.
