The Little Things

It's all in the detail:-)  Having unpacked nearly all the boxes now and placed our furniture where we want it, I am looking for the finishing touches that make a house your home.  Some ornaments and pictures from our old house have fitted in very well, but others just don't look right and will be replaced gradually.

It's exciting finding things that just fit the bill and I was really pleased to spot this jug with white roses in the sale at B&Q of all places!  It looks perfect on our kitchen table, blending in with the walls and the new table cloth and gives me pleasure every time I see it.  Not bad for £8:-)

What little thing gives you most pleasure in your home (and please don't say your partner!!)?
