Lucky Kereru

This beautiful bird  was lucky to be rescued and brought to us. It was seen in the bush up in the Marlborough Sounds, minding its own business eating, when a NZ Falcon divebombed it. The Kereru survived and has had a 3 cm gash in its neck stitched. It is looking better today.
