Structure

We found this portion of a hornet's nest blown out of a tree this morning. It's not the first time this summer that we've found remnants of a hornet's nest strewn on the ground after an evening bluster. I like the hornet's ability to build such a strong, resilient structure. Nature has it all figured out. Us? Well, we're learning.
