In the conservatory, with a web

An Ichneumonid wasp has been trapped by a window lace-weaver spider.

This encounter is likely to have only one conclusion, however it is but a single link in a chain of destruction: ichneumon wasp larvae parasitise caterpillars while smaller spiders are preyed upon by larger ones.

The conservatory seems such a peaceful place...
