Killer

According a headline I saw not so long ago, the heatwave was responsible for an increase in the number of flies and wasps hanging around.

I'm not bothered about the wasps, just ignore them and they'll get bored and fly off.

Flies are another matter, I hate the bloody things. A few years ago we bought a couple of these. They are small home versions of those big fly killer lights you see in shops.

I don't know how good they are in shops, but these are useless. No sign of even one dead fly.

I'll stick to industrial quantities of fly spray.
