Mud Art

We had planned a short walk just outside Monmouth (Wales) but our daughter phoned saying our granddaughter Amelia wasn't well and could we look after her for a couple of hours.

As we didn't leave there until near 4pm we went for a stroll through Newport Wetlands coastal footpath with it's stunning view over The Bristol Channel. The tide was out leaving the mud flats exposed with lovely patterns made by nature. My entry for this weeks Wide Wednesday challenge on the theme of 'art'.
