Best Foot Forward

How tall is a Rambler? One foot, five feet, maybe even six feet? This measuring pole doesn't really help, does it?

Our Wednesday walk with Cumbernauld & Kilsyth Ramblers was around Eaglesham, Bonnyton and Waterfoot in East Renfrewshire. A couple of unexpected, and thankfully short, showers but an otherwise very pleasant and quite warm day. The only downside was that it was mostly road-walking, albeit on country roads, but rather wearing on the feet and leg joints after a while.

We clocked up around 10 miles (about 16.5km) on our route, before a well-deserved post-Ramble coffee and cake at the Wishing Well in Eaglesham.
