It's Wednesday and we went walking

Today Anne E. Palmer (the E is important because we have two Anne Palmers in our group!) led a walk amongst the Wannies. We had coffee under Great Wanney and then climbed to the top. We used a path and left the rock face to the climbers who were there!

It was a lovely day with far more sunshine than we expected. Jean brought brownies and other treats to celebrate her birthday yesterday. It was a very relaxed day out. There was a lot of heather to cope with and Arth didn't enjoy the walk as much as I did. Only 9.4 miles but tough in places.

We were made very welcome by the landlord of The Gun Inn who made sure he was open when we arrived at 3pm. 

I came home, drank tea and went to sleep immediately!! 

We have promised ourselves an early night tonight.
