The mandatory photograph

This seems to be the view that most people associate with Santorini. To find out where it is, simply follow the visiting groups from the cruise ships.

I wouldn't have been happy to leave Santorini without visiting Oia, but it was very crowded with tourists and I'm not in a hurry to return there. However, we had a lovely lunch in a quiet cafe and an excellent ice cream later from a specialist shop.  I'm pleased that we managed to negotiate the local buses to find our way from Imerovigli to Oia via the chaotic bus station at Fira and back again.

This evening, we are back at our apartment at Imerovigli, enjoying dinner on our terrace overlooking the caldera and the sunset and the departing cruise ships.
