The apple fell

I always say we never get any apples on our trees as they tend to get heavily pruned whenever the pruning man feels the urge to prune them.  I was amazed to find this enormous beauty on the lawn this evening so I scooped it up and immediately made it into apple sauce!  Scrummy!  Maybe we will get some more!
