Shell
I'm going to guess a grasshopper crawled out of this empty shell. I just really liked the dew on it and the general darkness of everything except that shiny white husk. This is SOC - pure accident of whatever settings I had going on, I guess. Once again a shot from the still uncut hayfield. That field is providing so much interesting photographic material this year! We have learned that the field is now owned by our next door neighbors - who actually live up the road from us across from the field on the corner of the dirt road that is our regular walking route. Next door to us they have a second house that the do goodness only knows what with. And apparently they purchased the hayfield that is essentially between their two houses. Some people have more money than they know what to do with it would appear. Well - I guess they do know what to do with it. Buy land! The Husband says he hopes that if we should decide to sell our place they'll just snap it up since it would just make their contiguous properties even larger!
I have never said this before - but: Looks good large!! And on the black background.
