Katy

This apple tree, a variety called Katy, produced a stupendous harvest last year, of the best apples I've ever tasted: sweet, crisp, juicy.
It's right on the edge of our front garden and we encouraged dog-walkers in the village to grab one as they went by. They did!
This year, really not so much. A few, mostly spotty, samples. But this one was looking good the other morning and I noticed it against the back-drop of my blue car.
