The Hoover Dam,,,,,

Today we went on a road trip to the Hoover Dam, a great visit but it was so hot 105F so we had a few drinks in the cafe there.
Great history here.it was started in 1931 and finished in 1935 two years under budget but at a cost to the workforce. 112 deaths were reported from start to finish and a further 42 were reported to have died of Pneumonia which was a cover up for carbon-monioxide poisoning  in the tunnels that diverted the Colorado river.
All in all a great day out.
