My life, my lens

Colours of the city

A lazy morning chilling out at the Riad as we were booked in for our Hammam this afternoon. We left at midday so we could explore the area before heading in. We saw the Mosquee de Mansour and then had a walk through the local markets. Drinking mint tea at a cafe overlooking the streets gave the perfect opportunity to people watch. Unfortunately it started to rain so the crowd thinned out and it was time to leave. We were booked at Les Bains de Marrakech for the traditional Duo Hammam and massage. Its fair to say the Hammam was a funny and interesting experience. I don't think I've ever felt so scrubbed and clean! Luckily is was followed by a relaxing massage for an hour and then more mint tea.

After our treatments we headed back to the Riad for another pot of mint tea and a snooze. It wasn't long before we were weaving through the streets on our way out for dinner. We were dining at KosyBar which is a chilled out bar and restaurant. It had been another lovely day.
