Asian Metropolis

As I was walking downtown on one of the skywalks, I was struck by this particular view. I thought it was a good representation of what Bangkok is today.
There is a Thai wat on the foreground, with a pond in front, set among trees. But just below, there is an incredible number of motorbikes orderly parked here. And in the background, we can see the rising skyscrapers!
