Didsbury deli

Nice day. John's Mum & Geoff came up. I made efforts in kitchen. Lemon cupcakes succeeded (ok not that hard)...but chicken & leek pie a bit of a disaster. Issue was moist pastry..it had to turn itself into a 'casserole' as a result.
We went for walk in woods/around didders...then ended up in deli for a coffee. It looked really Christmassy with all cake boxes hanging up. Rose was utterly charming today.
