Oh Dear, Dear!

After a great evening got home late and hoped for a lie in this morning. It was not to be . We were woken by Polly flinging herself around obviously in some distress. We could not control her but eventually she did calm down but her head and neck looked at a funny angle. When we put her down she could not stand up straight and seemed very disorientated. We phoned the emergency vet who advised us to keep her quite and to take her to our vets when they opened at 11 a.m.
She seemed to improve as time went on and by the time 11o'clock came she had eaten her breakfast and seemed quite happy.
We took her to the vets to have her checked out anyway. Heart O.K. Skin a little pink, temperature normal. When she came to check her ears she let her look at one but went crazy when she tried to look at the other one. At the moment she thinks it is an ear infection.
For 5 minutes at the vets and a prescription £ 98.

She is worth it and I have to say has cost us very little over the last 10 years.

It was a bit scary at the time.

Hope you are all having a good weekend.
