Harvest

Eric was off subbing, my sister had other visitors, Qi Jong was cancelled, so I spent the entire day at home alone.
It was good. I moved the garden hose from spot to spot to drip water the vegetables; harvested pears, beets, basil, and kale; pruned the heck out of an overgrown rosemary, and basically stayed outside and away from my devices.
Sort of. It is hard when all you have to do is press a button or a screen to reach any part of the entire world.
The family texting didn't start up until mid-afternoon.
Got a long, dear, helpful email from a grieving friend who could use one in return.
