Lake Bohinj

Collecting hire cars is always exciting. Andrew came to the rescue on this occasion.

We piled into our two 9-seaters and headed around to Bohinj for a bit of swimming and running. A lovely - if a little busy - lake in the mountains.

Next onto Cerkno, picking up the event packs and dinner. Everyone got a free headband! Don't see many feebies at UK events...

50 minutes later we arrived at our accomodation in the small town of Črni Vrh. Andrew and co made a small navigational error, heading to a different town called Črni Vrh, a whole 90mins away from the correct one!
The single lane steep windy mountain roads were a baptism of fire for Andrew's 9-seat European driving.
