Llanelli Wetland Centre

A really lovely day, a nice cycle to the WWT Wetland Centre at Llanelli, and beautiful blue skies, and the tide was in for a change so it looked lovely.  In the distance (top centre) you can see the Whitford Lighthouse.  

The wetlands here is very much in two parts - the birds "pens" and the millennium wetlands.  We decided to wander around the wetlands today.  We had seen lots of dragonflies patrolling on our ride and they were doing the same here.

On the way back we saw the blackbird eyeing up the berries, a juvenile robin and a painted lady butterfly (the first time I have seen one of these.

Then a nice ride back, a shower and tea!
