One of those days

One of those days, when it feels as though nothing can go smoothly.

I don't think I will bore you with all the trivial things that made today challenging. I can't bear to re-live them all!

Suffice it say that I need either chocolate or wine NOW!

We had a good committee meeting this afternoon, but there was a lot to discuss and a lot of jobs to be done. I've managed none of them so far.

We have this glorious ornamental blackberry in the garden. The stems are white and bare in winter. The leaves are lovely, but the thorns are vicious.

Don't get me started on the Royal Mail online..........
