Delivering Leaflets
Today's main election task was delivering our party's leaflets to a rather large area of countryside. Looking at the map made me think of the Travelling Salesman Problem - how could we visit all these villages and hamlets in the shortest possible time?
In the event we only visited a much smaller area because time was running out and it started to rain. We'll be back tomorrow to continue the good work.
As the picture shows the job isn't too arduous. We (one driver and one leafletter) work in beautiful countryside and forest, on quiet roads, and if we are really lucky, in sunshine.
Incidentally, 50 meters further down this road we came across an impressive milestone from the 1800's, showing that this narrow gravel road used to be the main road connecting Härnösand to the rest of Sweden!
