Crystal clear water

I called the ferry company first thing this morning and there was space for my car on the 1.30pm crossing to Orkney. I drove around a bit of rural Caithness and then stopped at John O'Groats. It's a less visited and slightly less tacky version of Land's end! Then time to get the ferry.

The weather was good and apart from a 15 minute section was quite calm. Thankfully! I stopped at one of the causeways near Burray to take this blip. I got to Kirkwall, found the campsite and got set up, then wandered in to town for a look around.
