Where I Was

...before I got lost. Despite blipping the trail map to this heavily forested hilly park, the trails were not marked at all. It was my first time there and I only saw one person on her way out at the beginning. The compass on my phone didn’t work. The google map location tracker was minimally helpful. After several errors I finally found my way to the parking lot.

I went there on a tip from the dental assistant who said the remainder of the stone chimney from her grandfather’s hunting lodge was was really interesting. I was disappointed when I found it...as I am somewhat with the clarity of this shot. It’s been one of those days.
