What does a face say?

This lady was travelling on the circular train in Yangon. The white on her face is very traditional and often used mainly by women. It is made by grinding the bark of a particular tree and mixing with water to make a paste which is spread on the face in a particular pattern. It is beautiful, slightly cooling and slightly anesthetic. Her head wrap shows she belongs to a particular ethnic group.
