Norland Scarecrow Festival 2018!

Norland Scarecrow Festival is now in it's 19th year and it really did deliver this year. The theme for all scarecrows this year is the letter 'N', a great change from the usual rotation between nursery rhymes, TV programmes, books and so on. The village had put in a fantastic effort and really been creative when thinking on the theme. 

My collage shows just some of the scarecrows on offer, they include (from the top left!)...
1. Noddy - this was complete with the theme tune playing and doors that moved on the car! 

2. In the Night Garden star Upsy Daisy. 

3. Nostalgia in Norland - lots of scarecrows from years gone by! A treat to relive some of the memories. 

4. NHS celebrating 70 years - I was super impressed with this one, not something I'd thought of when generating ideas of N scarecrows!

Well done Norland, a credit to all involved...and a weekend of great weather in store as a reward for your efforts to bring in lots of scarecrow hunters!
