Puss in boots

I  went to the Farmers' Co-op (where else?) to buy some new wellies and as I was finding the right size I spotted the cat. The employee delegated to assist me in locating the boot section told me he (the cat) enjoyed a life of ease in return for his pest control services: he has several favourite sleeping spots, three meals a day and license to patrol the premises at his convenience.
