Cider with Archie
Summer has made a return. In fact, since the day after the Festival finished, we've had dry sunny weather! Such a pity that the visitors and street theatre folk had to put up with a couple of weeks of general mizzle.
Jordan came to take Archie out for a big walk, and once they'd gone, I decided to fiddle around with the pavers again. There's a corner that just isn’t right, and it really bothers me, so I thought I could reorganise it a bit better. I measured other pavers, moved a few, shuffled them around, to no avail. I think, if it really annoys me that much, I’ll have to get a stone cut to fit.
JR came back from a supermarket trip with a Big Treat - scallops! We don’t have them at all at home, but we had them recently as a posh entrée, and were reminded of how DIVINE they are.
I was working up to having a go at changing the light switches, but chickened out because I didn’t fancy curly hair, as Forthports warned. I'll just have to get a chap to do them.
Photographic credit today goes to Jordan (Arthur's Seat in the background). He threw the apples, Archie chased them, and Jordan will take them home and cook up something apple-y. Though he enjoyed a glass or two of Cornish Cider when he came back, so that's what he might do...
