Gardener

On our last morning in Ronda we walked down to the edge of town to see the Arab baths and passed a proud gardener and his work. There are only 34 red and yellow pots in this picture - I have another picture that shows 56.

After six lucky days of sun, today it rained. When we came to walk back up the steps into Ronda they had become a waterfall. From our bus to Málaga we saw topsoil streaming off the fields and in Málaga itself the Guadalmedina river was heavy with soil, building excavations were full of water, and roads were flooded. None of which stopped us wandering round the picturesque old town and taking refuge from the next deluge in the Picasso museum.
