In A Cleft Stick
Lovely early evening sunshine. This windfall crab apple has been caught by a cleft bramble stick. The apple tree in the hedge is draping itself attractively over a silver painted, five thousand gallon oil tank on concrete piers. Terracotta land drains are stacked under it. It's the first day of autumn tomorrow and this image has a definite feel of it.
Ollie dog and I spent a long time shooting beautiful willow emerald damsels, I haven't blipped one as I posted one the other day.
