Dahlia

I have probably mentioned before that I have managed to grow thee from seed, the seed packet instructions being written in Cyrillic script Russian.  Ten or twelve plants have survived my love and attention and are flowering well. A bit I must have missed is how tall they will grow,  they are now 3 - 4 foot tall and look rather out of place in the wooden troughs. Never mind they will have to stay there this year, hopefully they will produce usable tubers that can be planted elsewhere next year
