Where in the world am I?

That must have been the thought of this wee ladybird, which flew from my tee-shirt on to my hair! Not a great photo, but as this is the first ladybird I've seen this year, I was very happy.

Maple update: Vet had hoped Maple would be making more progress in being able to move. He's to be re-assessed next Friday. If he hadn't maintained weight and been eating well, I think she might have wanted us to give up on him.
Undaunted we have made him a new 'enclosure' outside, so he can get some fresh air. It certainly seemed to brighten him up  - he is not used to being cooped up inside. Hopefully it will help him physically and psychologically.
