A few of the Common (or Harbour) Seals have returned to a shingle bed close to the mouth of the River Ness, that I first saw them occupying last year. Quite large numbers of them started gathering back then. I suspect there must have been some change or disturbance at their previous resting place(s) that's caused them to start coming to this busier area.
