By the river.....

A great day for Mum, Daughter A and I, we grocery shopped, mall shopped and collected a very important cake - its celebration day tomorrow :)

Daughter A and I took a wee break with a quiet stroll down by the river.
The river has dropped from two days ago, Daughter A is standing on the verge of where the river was and I would've been swimming instead of taking a photo from this position. It was cold and a bit dreary but I quite liked seeing Daughter A against the landscape, surrounded by the yellow lupins, the last of the broom below the line of the trees and the sky shows how it was. Daughter A was trying out the camera on her new phone.

Great time had by all :)
