Boat Race

Another perfect day in paradise.
This annual race was meant to kick off at 11.30 am but they waited for adequate winds.  They sail from Magnetic Island to Townsville and back. 
We had booked for lunch at an upstairs open air restaurant for 1 pm, we were half way through the most delicious tapas lunch when they reached near the shore.  
I excused myself to take some photos - had the urge to do some movement as well.  I've made it my blip along with a texture and frame (looks hideous against the white screen, take a look in large against black)
There are a couple in extra.....a closeup of one of the "big daddy's" with the smaller ones behind.  The other extra is the lovely pier, sun was directly overhead so no good shadows, but its made a nice mono.
