'Empty Chairs and Empty Tables'!

Yesterday's warmth and sunshine seem like a distant memory ... today has been very dull and wet .... not particularly cold but it always feels chillier when it's raining.

Despite the inclement weather L and I headed down to Culzean Castle. We usually enjoy our coffee sitting in the courtyard ..... today we sat inside the cafe .... not quite the same! We missed the wee chaffinches that hop around looking for scone crumbs.

We made use of our National Trust membership and had a wander round the castle.  A blue sky is the perfect backdrop for a photograph of the castle .... today the backdrop was anything but and not even a wee crack in the flat, white sky.
