The Slufter at Texel
A day of walks with my daughter and her man and their baby boy thro' this beautiful valley the Slufter at the isle of Texel. It's a salt marsh valley open to the sea's tides. Several times the breached dunes were repaired, but since almost a century, when repairs failed again, this natural state of the salty marsh lands is accepted by the Dyking Authorities and a part of this region is open to the public for wandering thro'.
