We've had an awful 6 hour journey down to Essex today; no dreadful incidents just lots of nose to tail traffic for most of the way. Arriving at Shirley's at 6pm had its compensations though as the Prosecco had already been opened and we sat out in the garden enjoying that last of the beautiful day. A lot of S's plants and shrubs are having a second burst of life following the heatwave.
