Bournemouth Air festival

What a day!

Set off in the morning to drive down to B’mouth and check into our hotel. We then walked down to Boscombe to start exploring. We got a spot at the Boscombe end of the beach to watch the flying start and it was great being able to paddle and build sandcastles while the flying went on around us. We saw some brilliant displays and after a couple of hours walked down the front to Bournemouth.

The sun had come out by now and we ended up sitting on the sand sipping prosecco whilst watching the incredible red arrows display - some amazing flying manoeuvres, I don’t Know how they do it.

Dinner at Harry Ramsdens and the walk back to the hotel. I had walked over 7 miles (15k steps) by the time we got back, phewf!
