Barns Ness Pre-Dawn

An early morning blip today, this is the redundant Barns Ness lighthouse, just a short cycle ride from home.

Big Ness.

This was about twenty minutes before the sun dragged itself over the horizon, and was the best colour show of the morning, as the actual sunrise went very pale just after this.

I did have a reason for being up so early on a frosty Sunday morning.

I have already forgotten what it was.

Pleased I went out, though!
