Waiting For The Sun
I always think sunbeds on a rainy beach look rather sad.
They represent disappointed holidaymakers, holed up in their hotels, children with buckets and spades, faces pressed up against streaking windows.
But this is mid-November and the holidaymakers are all over 110 and are here in their thousands via Thomsons, to escape the cold British winter. They can wait till tomorrow to take a stroll on the longest promenade in Europe. Today they play cards in the lounge and natter about nothing at all.
And I don't care. It's still warm and exciting and adventurous. I hope to get into my apartment today and then I can begin to create my new home.
A new week starts tomorrow, a whole week, and I just can't wait!
I hope yours will be as fulfilling.
